<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch for a vehicle allowing easy discrimination of a change in the state of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 56 of an engine starter switch 10 switches into an engine start allowed state from the unlocked state of a door based on a radio signal from a controller 60, and then allows a current larger than a current flowing to an LED 32 in the unlocked state, to the LED 32 to allow the LED 32 to emit light further brightly.
