PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase power transmitted to pedals by transmitting treading-down force by foot or footwear serving as driving force during pedaling, kicking-out force kicking out the feet in the toe directions and contracting force contracting the feet inwardly to the pedals as driving force, and to prevent the feet or footwear from slipping down from the pedals by providing projecting parts in portions around ends of the pedals. SOLUTION: The pedals are rotatably mounted on a pedal shaft of a crank. The band-shaped projecting parts serving as hook parts of the footwear during pedaling are provided in at least front edge parts out of the front edge parts and inner edge parts of the pedals.
