An independent claim is also included for a vehicle trailer with the above braking device. Preferred Features: The abutment comprises a yoke-like balancing element which pivots with an adjusting element of the adjusting drive and is connected to the cable pull sleeve on the end side. The adjusting drive consists of a hydraulic actuating cylinder and is connected to a hydraulic high pressure storage unit.
