<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a piezoelectric driving actuator and a light beam sweeping device employing it, and to reduce the size of the light beam sweeping device. <P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric actuator 6 for sweeping a light beam 2 emitted from a light source 1 comprises a support 7, a first arm 8 having one end supported by the support 7, and a second arm 9 being supported by the other end of the first arm 8 and extending reversely to the extending direction from one end to the other end of the first arm 8, wherein the first arm 8 is provided with a piezoelectric drive electrode 10 consisting of a piezoelectric thin film 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
