<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink medium set which can record a high-quality image under an inkjet system. <P>SOLUTION: This ink medium set has ink which contains at least water, a coloring agent and a water-soluble organic solvent, with 6 to 15 mass% content of the coloring agent, and a recording medium having a fiber, containing a cationic compound and water-soluble soyabean polysaccharides, exposed to the surface. The cationic compound is preferably in the form of at least, either a cationic organic compound or an inorganic particulate bearing the cationic organic compound.
