<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which enables an increase in the cost thereof due to countermeasures for noise to be prevented and has improved noise resistance and can be miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: A control board support member 101a supporting a control board 101 that controls an image forming operation of an image forming unit 10 and shielding the control board 101, and an information conversion board support member 102a supporting an information conversion board 102 that converts external data into image information to input the information to the control board 101 and shielding the information conversion board 102, are vertically disposed close and parallel to each other on an upper surface of a power supply board support member 103a supporting a power supply board 103 as well as shielding the power supply board 103 and to be used as a ground.
