<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent data from being continuously transmitted from a slave unit to a master unit during the stop of the master unit while attaining long battery lifetime of the slave unit. <P>SOLUTION: Measurement data are transmitted from the slave unit 1 to the master unit 2 on a first cycle T. The master unit 2 receives the measurement data from the slave unit 1 and returns an ACK to the slave unit 1. The slave unit 1 does not receive an ACK from the master unit 2 in each reception but receives the ACK on a second cycle N×T (N≥2) longer than the first cycle T. The slave unit 1 determines that the master unit 2 stops (detect the stop of the master unit 2) if there is no ACK from the master unit 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
