<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which the brightness is improved by using a reflection-type polarizer; and a method for fabricating the same. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises: a backlight unit including a reflector and emitting light from a light source; a polarizer transmitting a part of light emitted from the backlight unit and reflecting the rest of light to the backlight unit; and a liquid crystal display panel forming an image by using a light transmitted through the polarizer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
