<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for treating salts-containing organic waste water which enable a stable treatment without a deterioration in methane generating activity. <P>SOLUTION: In the method and the apparatus for treating the salts-containing organic waste water, organic waste water containing high concentrations of salts is introduced into a methane fermentation process, and dilution water is introduced according to the value of a conductivity meter set in the methane fermentation process to treat the waste water. It is preferable that the electric conductivity of mixed raw water of the organic waste water and the dilution water is adjusted to≤20 mS/cm. It is preferable that the dilution water is raw water of an aerobic treatment process treating organic waste water containing low concentrations of salts and/or treated water of the aerobic treatment process. It is preferable that a nutritional agent necessary for biological treatment is added to raw water of the methane fermentation process and/or the dilution water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
