PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen pump which can be uniformly heated and can be efficiently operated. SOLUTION: The oxygen pump is composed of an oxygen pump element 6 formed with electrode films 5a, 5b on both sides of an oxygen ion conductive substrate 4, heating means 10a, 10b formed with resistance heating elements 12a, 12b on heat resistance substrates 11a, 11b, an electrically conductive means 8 electrically connected with the electrode films 5a, 5b, and air permeable insulating members 9a, 9b electrically insulating between the oxygen pump element 6 and the heating means 10a, 10b, wherein by arranging the electrode films 5a, 5b of the oxygen pump element 6 and the resistance heating elements 12a, 12b of the heating means 10a, 10b in a faced position, the oxygen pump element 6 can be uniformly heated by the resistance heating elements 12a, 12b and whereby it can be efficiently operated.
