PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein clogging of a nozzle sometimes occurs by solidifying an ink at the inside of the nozzle by drying the ink from a distal end of the nozzle at the time between inkjet coating of one substrate and inkjet coating of the other substrate and the time when an inkjet coating work is interrupted or stopped in view of a production step of other display panels. SOLUTION: The subject inkjet coater is provided with the nozzle for injecting a liquid drop of a coating liquid; an inkjet head 16 provided with the nozzle; a pipe 22 connected to the inkjet head 16 and leading the coating liquid to the nozzle; and a solvent vessel 31 provided adjacently to the inkjet head 16, storing a solvent of the coating liquid and capable of immersing the nozzle in the solvent.
