PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door structure of an automobile enabling easy getting in/out of an occupant and minimizing maximum protruding amount of a door when parked in a narrow place. SOLUTION: A base plate 7 on the body side is mounted on a front pillar lower panel 4 of a getting-in/out port 1, and a base plate 11 on the door side is mounted in an inner wall part of the door 2. A frame connection mechanism 5 which is folded, opened in a prism shape and deformed is formed by joining both end parts of the base plate 7 on the body side and base plate 11 on the door side with first and second movable plates 12, 13.
