PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lubricant oil on the sliding face of a rotary valve from being sucked into a pressure-resistant chamber for treating a package object matter in a vacuum environment when atmospheric pressure is introduced. SOLUTION: By rotation 51 of a rotary valve movable disk 24, eight ports 50 separately communicating with corresponding pressure-resistant chambers are connected to two, front and rear vacuum suction holes 52 and 53 formed in the disk located at the lower section. Under a vacuum condition acting in each pressure-resistance chamber, the opening of a packaging bag is sealed by a sealing mechanism. In this case, valve lids provided on the wall faces of the vacuum chambers are successively opened on an instructing line 55 by the impact of a valve opening mechanism 46, and air is sucked into each chamber from the valve lid without passing through the rotary valve. Subsequently, at slightly delayed timing, the eight ports 50 are successively connected to an air suction hole 60 formed in the disk in the lower section. However, the air suction hole 60 is provided for an auxiliary suction used in the event of malfunction of the valve lid, and therefore, normally, atmosphere does not flow into each pressure-resistant chamber through the air pressure suction hole as long as the valve lid is open.
