PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an knockdown water tank capable of sufficiently resisting against a large side pressure applied to the lower part of its side wall or a local strong striking of water flow against a partial side wall even if the side pressure or the local strong striking occurs. SOLUTION: This knockdown water tank 1 comprises an enclosure type frame 2 and a water tank bag 4 formed by a water-proof sheet arranged inside the frame 2 into an upper-opened container. The frame 2 has supporting columns 6 each of which is vertically arranged in an equal spacing at each of the corners of the assembled water tank 1 and at the intermediate portions in extending direction of each of the side walls, an upper frame 8 connected to the upper portion of each of the supporting columns 6, a lower frame 10 connected to the lower part of each off the supporting columns 6 and an intermediate frame 12 connected to the midway part of each of the supporting columns 6 in its height direction. The lower frame 10 is of a band plate and arranged below the peripheral portion of the water tank bag 4 with the plate surface being faced in a substantial horizontal direction.
