PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information superposing display device and an information superposing display system which can display information related to a printed matter which is observed through a see-through viewer by superposing the information in the real visual field of the printed matter quickly and simply. SOLUTION: The information superposing display device is equipped with; an image pickup part 104; an information of printed matter storage part 120; a image pickup contents of printed matter specifying part 105; an information on printed matter extracting part 106; an electronic information display part 101; and a half-transmission optical device 102 on which the information on the printed matter is displayed by being superposed in the real visual field of the printed matter 110. The information superposing display device specifies the image pickup contents of the printed matter which are picked up by the image pickup part 104 using data of the information on printed matter storage part 120, and extracts the information of the printed matter related to the specified image pickup contents, and displays the information through the half-transmission optical device 102 by superposing the information in the real visual field of the printed matter 110. At the time of displaying the information on the printed matter which is related to an extracted object, the contents of the information on the printed matter is changed in response to an image pickup range.
