PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a ticket vending machine for holding non-use item buttons in a status that the lights are switched off, and for easily and efficiently performing the attaching and detaching operation of item labels for each of the item buttons. SOLUTION: This ticket vending machine 1 is configured so that when money is put in, and an item button 5 is operated, an item ticket 7 printed with predetermined information such as an item name and sum assigned to the item button 5 is issued. A panel 50 for backlight where light emitting diode lamps 52a and 52b for illuminating each item button 5 are arrayed in an openable/closeable status is mounted on the back section of an operation panel 6 where the item buttons 5 are arrayed, and each item button 5 is individually held in a status that it is switched on and off.
