The device has a flexible moving mechanism (40) inserted through a feed channel that connects a connecting passage with a work piece guiding channel. The mechanism is guided during pushing of work pieces via guiding channel and aligns at internal contour of the channels. A driver of the mechanism reaches through the passage for taking the work pieces in direction of an outlet of the guiding channel. An independent claim is also included for a method for handling of a work piece e.g. valve seat ring.
