<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler powder for use in a sealing glass having a coefficient of thermal expansion which matches that of an article to be sealed, having an outstanding fluidity and enabling airtight sealing, and to provide a powder and a paste for sealing prepared by mixing a sealing glass powder with the filler powder. <P>SOLUTION: The filler powder is prepared by coating one or more ceramic filler powders selected from the group consisting of cordierite, willemite, alumina, zircon, tin oxide, β-eucryptite, KZr<SB>2</SB>(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>3</SB>, NbZr(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>3</SB>, Na<SB>0.5</SB>Nb<SB>0.5</SB>Zr<SB>1.5</SB>(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>3</SB>, K<SB>0.5</SB>Nb<SB>0.5</SB>Zr<SB>1.5</SB>(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>3</SB>, Ca<SB>0.5</SB>Zr<SB>2</SB>(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>3</SB>and WO<SB>4</SB>Zr<SB>2</SB>(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>2</SB>with a fire resistant fine powder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
