AIRBAG DEVICE FOR PEDESTRIAN

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device for pedestrian capable of suppressing gas leakage from a part in the vicinity of an inlet even when the expansion of an airbag is completed so as to be brought into contact with a road surface.

SOLUTION: In the airbag device S for pedestrian, an inflatable airbag 10 and an inflator 60 to feed inflation gas to the airbag 10 are stored in a vehicle body 1 on the forward side of front wheels of a vehicle V. The airbag 10 is inflated so as to prevent inclusion of a pedestrian from the forward side when the inflator 60 is operated. The airbag 10 is protruded downwardly from a storage part 28 and inflated so as to cover a space between a road surface GL and a lower side of a front end of the vehicle body 1 on the forward side of the front wheels. The airbag 10 is mounted on the storage part 28 by a peripheral edge part 13 of a gas inlet 12 and a mounting part 16 arranged on the forward side of the gas inlet 12.
