<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel for improving optical reflectivity and a display device having the the display panel. <P>SOLUTION: An array substrate 100 has a plurality of data lines, a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of pixel regions. An electrode pattern for storage capacitor is formed on each of pixel regions. A color filter substrate 200 is combined with the array substrate 100 to receive the liquid crystal layer 300 therebetween. An opening part corresponding to the electrode pattern for the storage capacitor with a color filter removed is formed. Thus, the light reflected by the electrode for the storage capacitor exits through the opening part to the outside. Thereby, an optical reflectivity in unit pixel region can be enhanced by an amount of light that is reflected by the electrode for the storage capacitor and exits through the opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
