PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely make the user listen to audio at timer reproduction. SOLUTION: The audio-sound output apparatus is provided with a connection detecting switch 8B of a headphone connecting terminal 8 for detecting whether an external headphone 30 is in a connected state or non-connected state to an audio apparatus 1 and a control part 10 that makes a speaker relay 14 feed the audio-sound signal S6 to a speaker 7 to output the audio sound, when the non-connected state of the headphone 30 is detected, and makes a mute circuit 17 feed the audio-sound signal S7 to the headphone 30 for outputting the audio sound in the case that the connected state of the headphone 30 is detected. The control part 10 also detects if the time has reached an appointed time set beforehand by using a clock circuit 10A. Furthermore, in the case of detecting that the time has reached the appointed time, the control part 10 makes the speaker relay 14 feed the audio-sound signal S6 to the speaker 7 for outputting the audio sound from the speaker 7, regardless of whether the headphone 30 is in a connected state or a non-connected state.
