PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information media storage/ejection device capable of orderly storing regular flat plate-shaped information media having unique identification information and accurately ejecting the information media from a stored place upon request and an information media custody device for the information media. SOLUTION: A passbook custody device 1 comprises multiple rows of passbook 2 storage racks 31 on the front inner surface of a casing 10. Multi-stages of holding stage parts formed of a pair of right and left grooves 35 are formed in the storage racks 31. The holding stage parts formed of grooves 64 formed in passbook guides 62L and 62R are also formed in the transfer rack 61 of a transfer part 40. The holding stage parts are moved close to the holding stage parts of the storage rack 31 to exchange passbooks.
