The valve has a rotor connected to a camshaft by an axial support screw. The rotor and a stator define pressure chambers that are attached to the valve by a control piston. An annular spring unit (19) that is inserted into an annular groove of an axial inner borehole (12) of the screw locks radial boreholes (16, 17) of the screw. The axial inner borehole has a constant diameter over its length.
