<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a research system executing highly-reliabile market research with a member household of a life pattern/consumption pattern characteristic to a certain area as a target. <P>SOLUTION: In this research system comprising a terminal 110 of the member household, a server 120 of a research company and a terminal 130 of a client requesting research, the terminal 110 of each the member household has a meter reading function-equipped gateway (GW) 111 having a function reading a meter of at least one kind of electricity, gas and water of the member household. The server 120 of the research company has: a household attribute information management DB 122; a questionnaire information management DB 123; a meter reading value management DB 124 managing use amount data of energy or the like of the member household; and a research result storage device 121 including a life pattern classification function 317 estimating the life pattern of the member household from the use amount data of the member household and classifying it, and a consumption pattern classification function 318 estimating the consumption pattern of the member household from the use amount data of the member household and classifying it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
