PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable mobile wireless device of a rotary slide type with a rotary hinge structure capable of securing high antenna performance even while the apparatus are opened to the left and right in a horizontal direction without the need of a plurality of antennas. SOLUTION: The mobile wireless device includes: the first and second cases 11, 12; a hinge part 13 for turnably coupling the first and second cases 11, 12 along the face of the cases; an antenna part 18 provided to the second case 12 and including first and second feeding parts 18a, 18b; and a detection section 26 for detecting the opening/closing states in the left/right revolving direction, and a switching unit 25 performs switching to one of the first and second feeding parts 18a, 18b on the basis of the result of the detection by the detection section 26.
