PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide insertion structure of a cable in a sunroof device not requiring forming of an enlarged diameter part in a cable groove of a guide rail. SOLUTION: In the insertion structure of the cable, the cable 14 for pushing and pulling to slide a roof panel is inserted into the cable groove 5A of the guide rail 5 through a joint member 12. The joint member 12 is fitted at the position different from the cable groove 5A in the guide rail 5.
