An installation for receiving, converting, and retransmission of electrical signals in the area of ultra short waves. A relatively wide high frequency band is converted to an intermediate frequency condition and in this state is divided off to several transmission channels with the aid of an intermediate frequency channel filtering network. These transmissions are collected together again in a further wide high frequency band after amplification and conversion with the help of a high Q-high frequency filtering network. The phase distortions caused by the filters of both networks are corrected together by the delay equalisers connected to the filter outputs of the I.F. filtering network. The filter resonators of the I.F. network have a significantly smaller Q than those of the H.F. network.
