Topical composition (A) in form of an oil-in-water emulsion (containing an oily phase dispersed in an aqueous phase), comprises: 16-30C fatty acids (5 wt.%); 22-40C fatty alcohol (I); a basic agent; and 8-14C fatty acids (2 wt.%) where (A) has pH of 6-9 and utmost 90% of the fatty acids are in free form. An independent claim is also included for preparation of (A).
