Compressor control unit and compressor control method

A compressor control unit for use in a compressor having a compressor main body with a coolant discharge pipe includes a driving circuit unit including a converter circuit unit, an inverter circuit unit and a control circuit unit disposed in a sealed housing, and a temperature detector for detecting temperature in vicinity of the coolant discharge pipe. The compressor control unit is mounted on the compressor main body by inserting the coolant discharge pipe through the housing, and the temperature detector is installed at a vicinity of the coolant discharge pipe in the housing.
