The inking mechanism (1) has a ductor roll (2), a friction roll (5) and the lifting roll (8). The lifting roll is in permanent rotating contact with the friction roll. The two rolls run at the same circumferential velocity. An offsetting device (9) is provided to act synchronously with the lifting roll and ductor roll to permit the transfer of ink.
