摘要 Seeds supplied from a supply trough are distributed into a plurality of grooves on an upper surface of an alignment trough. The seeds supplied from the alignment trough form the number of rows corresponding to the number of the grooves on the upper surface of the alignment trough also on a belt. A line sensor camera photographs a linear region perpendicular to a moving direction of the belt to inspect the seed in each of the rows. A nozzle device comprises the number of nozzles corresponding to the number of the grooves on the upper surface of the alignment trough. The seed determined to be of a predetermined color by the inspection of the line sensor camera is sucked for each row by each of the nozzles of the nozzle device. Moreover, in a seed-sorting process performed by a seed sorting apparatus, a control unit determines whether a most frequent luminance value is smaller than a luminance reference value. In the case where the most frequent luminance value is smaller than the luminance reference value, the control unit calculates a degree of complexity using calculated peripheral length and area. The control unit determines whether the calculated degree of complexity is within the range of a complexity reference range. In the case where the calculated degree of complexity is within the range of the complexity reference range, the control unit determines whether the length of the seed is within the range of a length reference range. In the case where the length of the seed is within the range of the length reference range, the control unit transmits an instruction signal for instructing a sorting and suction device to suck the seed.
