The invention relates to a method and a device for continuously drying rice, especially paddy. The aim of the invention is to significantly shorten the treatment time while substantially reducing breaking of the grains. Said aim is achieved by performing a drying process in a fluidized bed following preliminary cleaning of the paddy, the paddy being tempered or cooled only in a subsequent process. |
