The image output by a digital camera (1) is received by a service center (2) through Internet to perform different image processing operations. The picked-up image is converted into thumb nail images based on transmitted images and the thumb nail images are displayed on the telephone screen. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) image storage apparatus; and (2) digital camera.
