Method involves an electrical resistance along the path in drum. Amount of charge is determined with respect to the voltage (U) and rotation of drum. Amount of charge is determined when electrical resistance exceeds the threshold resistance. Drying time is determined at beginning of drying procedure and residual moisture is determined from the measured value at end of procedure. An independent claim is also mentioned for electrode arrangement.
