A SMALL MOTOR INCLUDES A ROTOR (3); AN OUTPUT SHAFT (5) PROVIDED WITH A GEAR (5A) FORMED BY ONE-PIECE MOLDING, SAID GEAR ROTATING IN RECIPROCAL MOVEMENT IN CIRCUMFERENCE DIRECTION; A REDUCTION GEAR TRAIN (4) FOR TRANSMITTING A ROTATION OF SAID ROTOR TO SAID OUTPUT SHAFT (5); A FRICTION MECHANISM PROVIDED IN SAID REDUCTION GEAR SUCH THAT A POSITION OF SAID FRICTION MECHANISM IS CLOSE TO A SIDE OF SAID ROTOR, SAID FRICTION MECHANISM INCLUDING A FIRST ROTARY MEMBER (61, 71) AND A SECOND ROTARY MEMBER (62, 72) IN SUCH A MANNER THAT WHEN A ROTATION FORCE EXCEEDING A PREDETERMINED VALUE IS APPLIED TO SAID FRICTION MECHANISM, SAID FIRST ROTARY MEMBER AND SAID SECOND ROTARY MEMBER ARE SLIPPED TO FREE FROM EACH OTHER.
