<p>A simple method for ensuring a secure data connections for remote systems has an identical test programme applied to the systems and to a control system. The resulting outputs from the systems are compared with that from the control system, and in the case of agreement, releasing the systems for normal operation. The test programme can be a CRC check number programme. The applied parameters, from the systems, can be stored in the control system for future reference. Additional data can be supplied from the remote systems, e.g. serial number, operator details, parameter identity, date etc.</p> |
