The invention refers to medicine, in particular to a process for obtaining histologic preparations and may be used in pathomorphism. In process for obtaining histologic preparations includes fixation of the tissue, impregnation with melted paraffin, obtaining of sections with a thickness of 5...7 Ám, deparaffinization thereof, washing with distilled water and colouring, which is carried out during 30 min in a mixture constituted of equal volumes of solutions, one of which contains 0,5 M acetate buffer with pH 4,8, and the second contains, volume parts: 2% aqueous methyl green solution - 10, 5% aqueous pyronine G solution - 17,5 and distilled water - 250. After colouring the preparations are washed during 2...3 s with distilled water, are dried on filter paper, are differentiated during 1...2 s in a mixture of acetone:xylene (1:1) and are enclosed in balsam. The result of the invention consists in improving the degree of colouring and in reducing the time of colouring of the histologic preparations.
