<p>The invention relates to a mechanism for driving spherical taps on natural gas mains. According to the invention, the mechanism is provided with a lever (4) for coupling and uncoupling from the "mechanical" position to the "manual" position, the manual driving being carried out by means of a wheel (5) while the mechanical driving is carried out by means of an electric motor (1) which, by means of a worm-worm gear primary mechanism transmits the motion to some intermediary wheels (7), the last intermediary wheel (7) transmitting the motion to a maximum torque mechanism (8) which is coupled with a shaft, non-represented in the figure, of the tap ball, by means of a bush (9), while the positioning of the tap ball in closed or open positions is made by means of adjustable stops (10).</p> |
