<p>The invention relates to a fruit picking apparatus comprising a telescopic tube (1), some shears (3), a fruit storage chamber (38), the shears (3) being mounted at the upper end of the telescopic tube (1), the operation of the mobile element (3b) of the shears (3) in an horizontal plane being made by means of a metal strip (7) attached with an end to a clamping element (6) sliding on a resilient thread (4) attached to the opposite ends of the cutting edges shears (3), and with the other end to a spiral spring (11) conducting and rolling the metal strip (7) when the telescopic tube (1) modifies its length, comprising 5 segments (1a ... 1e). The fixed element (3a) of the shears (3) is provided, at the opposite end of the cutting edge with a conical tube (3d) whose axis is perpendicular to the actuating plane of the shears (3) and by means of which it is secured to the upper end of the telescopic tube (1). The spiral spring (11) mounted in a housing (13) on a shaft (12) is secured to the telescopic tube (1) at its bottom by means of some arms (15) and a supporting device (22). The lower end of the telescopic tube (1) is secured to a belt (26), by means of a ball joint (27) enabling the telescopic tube (1) to slope. The return of the mobile element (3a) to initial position, when the shears are open, is made by means of a spring (9), while by means of 5 guiding and supporting devices (18) mounted at the upper ends of the segments (1a ... 1e), the metal strip (7) is guided, and there is secured a guiding mesh (17), the fruit falling therein after having cut the stalk, said guiding mesh having attached at the lower part, a damping chamber (37) for damping the shock due to the fruit falling, and also a storage chamber (38) which is stitched to the belt (26).</p> |
