The end of a roll of paper is secured to the underlying layer by a tab comprising a body portion 1, Fig. 2 (not shown), having extension tabs 2, the tabs having adhesive on their underside and the body having adhesive on the outside surface. Necks 3, Fig. 2, joining the tabs to the body, may be notched and cut to facilitate tearing free the roll end. The body may extend beyond the sides of the tabs, Fig. 4 (not shown), these extensions having additional strips of adhesive for attachment to the roll end and being connected to the tabs by weakened necks 23. |
