<p>The invention relates to a magnetic security ratchet which may be used for equipping elevators and security belts for motor vehicles. According to the invention, the magnetic ratchet ensures the stopping or the displacement of the wheel by the fact that the rotor (1) is mounted on an axle (2) and it is provided at its periphery with some diametrically opposed slanting seats (a), having mounted on their lower part some magnetic members (4 and 5) and other seats (b) which are also diametrically opposed, and in the gap (c) between the stator (6) and the rotor (1) there can move some magnetic balls/rollers (12 and 13) which, when the rotor (1) rotates at low speed, are attracted by the magnetic members (4 and 5) inside the seats (a). Some balls/rollers (14 and 15) are located in some seats (b) for centering the rotor (1) and when the rotor (1) rotates at high speed, the balls (12 and 13) are moved by the centrifugal force in the wedging area of the rotor (1), while at the other end the axle (2) of the rotor (1) has a fixed gin (16) which may be actuated by means of user's cable (19).</p> |
