A production method of a hardly- electrifiable glass substrate, which plasma-processes a glass substrate to render the glass substrate hardly-electrifiable, and a hardly- electrifiable glass substrate obtained by the method. A glass substrate is placed in an atmospheric-pressure plasma generator that generates atmospheric-pressure plasma between electrodes to process an object by the atmospheric-pressure plasma, and the glass substrate is rendered hardly-electrifiable by the atmospheric-pressure plasma generated in the generator. A glass substrate, being atmospheric-pressure-plasma-processed, can be rendered difficult to electrify, and dust deposition can be prevented until the hardly-electrifiable glass substrate is mounted to a product such as a liquid crystal display. |
