ELEVATOR CONTROLLER AND CONTROLLING METHOD

An elevator controller comprises a processing section for controlling the operation of an elevator based on a clock signal, and a detecting section for detecting the state of the clock signal by comparing the number of edges of the clock signal counted during a preset period with a preset number of edges and instructing the processing section with regard to operation of the elevator according to the detection results.
