摘要 Conventionally, there is a contrast detection method called "mountain-climbing control" for the auto focus function of a camera. However, the image having the highest contrast data value is not always a focused image. For example, depending on the characteristics of the depth of field of the camera lens, an object not related to an object to be focused is also focused. In order to solve this problem, there is provided an imaging lens position control device including a video signal acquisition unit, a contrast information acquisition unit, and a first imaging focus lens position decision unit. The first imaging focus lens position decision unit decides the imaging focus lens position according to the focus position information having a focus position nearest to an imaging person among the focus lens position information associated with the contrast information showing a contrast value not smaller than a predetermined threshold value.
