FIELD: industrial furnaces, applicable at engineering plants and at shops of non-ferrous castings of other enterprises. ^ SUBSTANCE: the aluminum melting furnace has a body comprising a melting chamber, forehearth and a tap-hole, a tunnel with a burner, charging door with a bottom installed at a slant towards the melting chamber are made in the body wall, and smoke-escape channels. The novelty in the furnace is installation in the upper part of the body of a partition separating it and the generating melting chamber and the charge loading chamber, location of a loading port in the lower part of the charge loading chamber wall at an angle of 63 to 67 deg, location of smoke-escape channels in the upper part of the charge loading chamber and melting chamber, execution of the common outlet part of the smoke-escape channels in the form of a vertical square tube. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of melt, reduced gas content in it, reduced consumption of fuel and enhanced service life. ^ 5 dwg |
