摘要 <p>It is intended to provide a liquid composition, or resin composition, containing semiconductor ultrafine particles that is inexpensive and exhibits not only high luminescence intensity but also high luminescence stability. Cationic semiconductor ultrafine particles composed of semiconductor ultrafine particles with surfaces thereof covered with ionic molecules are synthesized in an aqueous solution (S1), and the resultant aqueous solution is mixed with a hydrophobic ionic liquid and agitated (S2,S4). Then, the water is separated from the ionic liquid, and substantially 100% of the cationic semiconductor ultrafine particles are transferred from the water into the ionic liquid, so that an ionic liquid solution of semiconductor ultrafine particles can be obtained by removing the upper-phase water (S5 to S7). Although in that state as well the luminescence intensity is high and also the long-term luminescence stability under continuous irradiation of excitation light is high, further heating treatment is performed (S8), thereby attaining further enhancement of luminescence efficiency. By the use of an ionic liquid type monomer, a resin composition containing semiconductor ultrafine particles can be obtained through polymerization.</p>
