METHOD FOR ASSOCIATION BETWEEN TELEPHONY AND TELEVISION NETWORK EQUIPMENT

<p>A method for user assisted association between a television (70) and a telephony device (90) is provided. A set-top box (50) requests an identification code from a server (20). The server (20) identifies the set-top box (50), generates the code and transmits it to the set-top box (50). The set-top box (50) displays the code and a user transmits the code back to the server via a telephony device (90). The server (20) identifies the telephony device (90), and using the code, associates between the set-top box (50) and the telephony device (90).</p>
