Acidic laundry detergent compositions wherein the detergent composition contains a surfactant component; and an organic acid source; and wherein the composition has a viscosity of greater than about 150 mPa.s; wherein the composition has a pH of from about 2 to about 6; and wherein the composition has a reserve acidity of at least 1.6.
