The pedal has a pedal body (2) with an upper part (2A) including front and rear interlocking units (3, 4), and a lower part (2B) including a housing, where the pedal is associated to a rotational angle measuring unit of a pedal crank (11). Deformation gauges (15, 16) are disposed in an interstice (2C) while extending in the longitudinal direction of the body to measure the transversal forces applied during pedaling.
