A medicine useful for the prevention or treatment of neuropathic pain. There is provided a preventive or therapeutic pharmaceutical composition for neuropathic pain, comprising as an active ingredient a 3,4-disubstituted phenylethanolaminotetralincarboxamide derivative of the general formula (I) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof. (I) In the formula, A is a lower alkylene; B is an amino, a di-lower-alkyl substituted amino, an alicyclic amino, etc.; n is an integer of 1 or 2; the carbon atom marked with * is a carbon atom of R-configuration or S-configuration, or a carbon atom having the same mixed therein; and the carbon atom marked with (S) is a carbon atom of S-configuration.
